Set up your device
Needs the board plugged inRun the steps in order the first time. Installing is a one-off — after that the device takes its updates over the air — and the rest are here whenever you want to change the Wi-Fi, the clock or the location.
Setting up over USB needs Chrome, Edge, Opera or Firefox 151 or
later. Safari cannot do it.
CH34x USB bridge: Windows and macOS usually need the WCH driver installed once before the board shows up.
On Linux your user needs to be in the
dialout
group (uucp on Arch) before the browser can see
the board. Without it the device picker opens empty. Log out
and back in after adding yourself — group membership is
only picked up at login.
